Day Activities
The focus of day activities is to design a daily schedule of options for the individual based on the interest and abilities of each person and driven by their Person Centered Plan. Service will be developed based on the philosophy that all people need choices, options, variety, and sometimes they just need a change. Everyone needs to feel useful and important.

Life Coaching
Assisting individuals to reach their fullest potential through the achievement of personal outcomes. Provide assistance with the acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills. Activities of daily living skills will be taught in real life environments.

Compensatory Education
Educational Opportunities for individuals sponsored by the North Carolina Department of Education through Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College.

A Summer Place
A Summer Program for children and young adults emphasizing, recreation, leisure, arts, music, and skill development.

Community Events
Individuals have an opportunity to choose community events or activities and are involved in organizing those events.
Including: Holiday Parties – Bowling – Picnics – Luaus – Volunteer Activities


Supported Employment
This is a waiver service that assists the person that is looking for employment opportunities. LINCS provides assessing the individuals’ work skills, desires and will assist them with their job search, application process and ongoing support during employment.


It is our goal to provide specialized community support to assist individuals to achieve full
community inclusion.

Individuals ADVOCACY Meetings: Persons served will be meetings at LINCS for advocacy meetings at the time listed below. This is a great time to make suggestions for our program or to discuss their own personal goals. It is also a good time to hang out with peers and socialize. The meetings are private and confidential so anyone can feel comfortable in sharing hopes, dreams and other feelings. The agenda is open for discussion.
